“My work is a collection of bronze and clay sculpture that is anchored in a respect for the strength of the Gullah-Geechee people who carry forward their centuries-old traditions in the arts, crafts, language and culture of today.”

“My current body of work honors hallmarks of the Gullah-Geechee culture and helps preserve the richness of the unique way of life.  Each sculpture celebrates the Gullah-Geechee people of today and the stories which are part of their history.  As I touch the clay the story leads the way. Each sculpture has it’s own distinctive charter which makes the story come to life for the observer.”

“I donate a portion of my sales to groups helping keep the Gullah-Geechee history alive.”
